Xiamen Gulangyu belongs, the southwest corner of the peninsula located in Xiamen, Xiamen peninsula across the sea, separated by only a 600 meters wide Lujiang, ferry up to 4.5 minutes.

Xiamen Underwater World

Underwater World Xiamen Gulangyu park was originally located in the east coast of the yellow house Gulangyu ferry, with a sea of freshwater fish from the oceans of the world's continents, more than 350 kinds of a tail. Cannes (French Riviera)

Located 25 minutes from Nice International Airport, it is the city of festivals and major conferences, a shopper's paradise, the capital of the 7th Art and tourist town with exceptional infrastructures.

The Promenade of the “Croisette” is one of the most popular of the City of Cannes. With more than 3km long offers a promenade which combines the mythical hotels (Carlton, Majestics …), casinos, but also all the luxury shops such as Channel, Dior... and wonderful sandy beaches, the rose garden, the Port Canto and shady gardens. It is an attractive center and walk through excellence…. a real invitation to relax !

The International film festival "FIF" of Cannes has celebrated the cinema for over 60 years. It is recognized worldwide welcoming each year the biggest celebrities from around the world. This year the festival took place 14 to 25 May 2014.

 Dream destination for lovers of festivals, because the famous “Palais des Festivals” offers a wide program of events each year.The programing of the summer 2014 (July-August):

A word of advice:

If you ever have the opportunity to stay in Cannes here some advice:

Ø  Visit of the old town «Le Suquet» (church, magnificent view), wide choice of lovely typical Provencal restaurant “La Sousta”  is one of my favorite .

Ø  Tourist train from Cannes Croisette and Suquet : "Le Petit Train de Cannes" invite you to discover the two sides of the City: La Croisette , the famous promenade surrounded Sea beaches and palaces and the Suquet quarter of the Old town with its narrow streets and pitorresques 180 ° panorama for only 7 euros.

 

Ø  Shopping: shops Luxuries on the Croisette or Rue d'Antibes shopping more affordable. If you are passionate about animals dogs and cats like me go to the Dog Shop  “La Boutique du Chien” which offers amazing items like clothing for dogs ...

Ø  Walk on the Lerins islands located just in front of Cannes ( 15 minutes feria ) where you can go stroll you pic- niker , visit the museum " iron mask " , swim ...

Ø  The Cannoise nights: the Cannes parties are deemed to be globally wildest and chic! For the Before:  “Carré d’or” of Cannes square with many bars and lounges. For Clubs: during summer go to Gotha nightclub to see famous singers and rappers: such as: Lill Wayne, Snoop dog or the Baoli night club very chic, and another one Marches Club

Welcome to Vietnam !

Vietnam is welcoming you with lots of attractions ! Two of those I would like to show you below are Hanoi - the capital of Vietnam and Ha Long Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular travel destination.

Hanoi City

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and the Old Quarter has the original street layout and architecture of old Hanoi. At the beginning of the 20th century the city consisted of only about 36 streets, most of which are now part of the old quarter. Each street then had merchants and households specialized in a particular trade, such as silk traders, jewellery. The street names nowadays still reflect these specializations, although few of them remain exclusively in their original commerce.The area is famous for its small artisans and merchants, including many silk shops. Local cuisine specialties as well as several clubs and bars can be found here also. A night market in the heart of the district opens for business every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening with a variety of clothing, souvenirs and food.

Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay is located in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam. The bay consists of a dense cluster of some 1,600 limestone monolithic islands each topped with thick jungle vegetation, rising spectacularly from the ocean. Several of the islands are hollow, with enormous caves. Wooden stakes cave is the largest grotto in the Hạ Long area. There are two bigger islands, Tuan Chau and Cat Ba, where have permanent inhabitants, as well as tourist facilities including hotels and beaches. There are a number of beautiful beaches on the smaller islands.

A community of around 1,600 people live on Hạ Long Bay in four fishing villages: Cua Van, Ba Hang, Cong Tau and Vong Vieng. They live on floating houses and are sustained through fishing and marine aquaculture (cultivating marine biota), plying the shallow waters for 200 species of fish and 450 different kinds of mollusks. Many of the islands have acquired their names as a result of interpretation of their unusual shapes. Such names include Elephant Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, Monkey Islet, and Roof Islet. 989 of the islands have been given names. Birds and animals including bantams, antelopes, monkeys and lizard also live on some of the islands.

CapeTown , I love you

The official Cape Town Tourism website says “You dont need a holiday, You need Cape Town”. Well, thats true YOU NEED CAPE TOWN. When the plane is landed you have the first image of the perfection of Cape Town. You see the Table Mountain and the ocean so close to each other and so beautiful together that makes you wonder if it is a real image or just something that someone created on a computer.

Cape Town is a city of colors and of music. Go for a walk in the city and see the colored houses – all these different colors red,pink,blue,green,yellow, all different from each other but all together look like the pieces of a puzzle that just fit.

Go to the V&A Waterfront, for a walk to the marina and see the boats from all these different countries. Listen to the south African music as always some local group is performing there. Have a cocktail (or two, or three or more) to one of the next to the marina taverns/bars. See the whole marina from the big wheel. Go for shopping of traditional african art to one of the little shops that you will find there or go for the big international brands on the V&A Shopping Mall. Go to the Two Oceans Aquarium and see all these creatures from the two oceans that surround the country. See of these really weird fishes – honestly you will find some really weird looking species there.

Go to Boulders, the famous penguin colony of the African penguins – yes apparently penguins live in south africa as well – see the beach there full of little penguins that walk so silly – but dont expect them to “smile and wave”.

Go to Table Mountain and feel how is to be really high - 1,084.6 m high to be more specific. Feel how it is to be literally between the clouds. See the city of Cape Town from the top of the mountain , see the blue ocean to be one with the blue of the sky, feel like a giant because from up there everything else looks like miniatures or feel so small in frond the beauty of nature. If you are the athletic type of person you can walk to the top of the mountain – for the rest of us, the lazy type of people there is the cable car!

Go for Shark Cage Diving if you are looking for a unique adrenalin rush, an experience that you will never forget. Feel the sharks to be so close to you that you can touch them if you want to – thats figure of speech obviously, as when you are shark diving you are not supposed to take your hands or legs out of the cage.

Go for a safari and see the nature and the wild animals of south africa. If you are lucky you may see the honey badgers – the most fearless animal of the animal kingdom – unfortunately I wasnt lucky, no honey badgers for me.
