CapeTown , I love you

The official Cape Town Tourism website says “You dont need a holiday, You need Cape Town”. Well, thats true YOU NEED CAPE TOWN. When the plane is landed you have the first image of the perfection of Cape Town. You see the Table Mountain and the ocean so close to each other and so beautiful together that makes you wonder if it is a real image or just something that someone created on a computer.

                                                              Welcome to Cape Town

Cape Town is a city of colors and of music. Go for a walk in the city and see the colored houses – all these different colors red,pink,blue,green,yellow, all different from each other but all together look like the pieces of a puzzle that just fit.

Go to the V&A Waterfront, for a walk to the marina and see the boats from all these different countries. Listen to the south African music as always some local group is performing there. Have a cocktail (or two, or three or more) to one of the next to the marina taverns/bars. See the whole marina from the big wheel. Go for shopping of traditional african art to one of the little shops that you will find there or go for the big international brands on the V&A Shopping Mall. Go to the Two Oceans Aquarium and see all these creatures from the two oceans that surround the country. See of these really weird fishes – honestly you will find some really weird looking species there.

Go to Boulders, the famous penguin colony of the African penguins – yes apparently penguins live in south africa as well – see the beach there full of little penguins that walk so silly – but dont expect them to “smile and wave”.

Go to Table Mountain and feel how is to be really high - 1,084.6 m high to be more specific. Feel how it is to be literally between the clouds. See the city of Cape Town from the top of the mountain , see the blue ocean to be one with the blue of the sky, feel like a giant because from up there everything else looks like miniatures or feel so small in frond the beauty of nature. If you are the athletic type of person you can walk to the top of the mountain – for the rest of us, the lazy type of people there is the cable car!

Go for Shark Cage Diving if you are looking for a unique adrenalin rush, an experience that you will never forget. Feel the sharks to be so close to you that you can touch them if you want to – thats figure of speech obviously, as when you are shark diving you are not supposed to take your hands or legs out of the cage.

Go for a safari and see the nature and the wild animals of south africa. If you are lucky you may see the honey badgers – the most fearless animal of the animal kingdom – unfortunately I wasnt lucky, no honey badgers for me.
