and a land with diverse opportunities. Growing up there has been nothing but
adventurous and exciting. You haven’t been to Africa if you did not visit
Nigeria!!! Am going to enlighten you on a few of our many tourist attractions
destinations that makes Nigeria stand out from the crowd.
Firstly is the famous
place in Abeokuta called Olumo rock…………….do not get me started on how awesome
that place is and to think it is just a huge old rock with its own elevator,
restaurant and water fountain…lol. The Olumo rock is part of our nation’s past
history because it provided a safe haven for people during the war in the
1990s. If you ever come to Nigeria and you don’t get to visit Olumo rock then I
can boldly tell you haven’t been to Nigeria. The Olumo rock is about 137metres
high above sea level and consists of three main caves;

The first cave consists of slabs and seats and
is said to have been used as a conference hall in the past.

The second and third caves were mainly used as
a sitting room, dining room and kitchen. As a tourist visiting Africa Olumo
rock definitely has to be included in your travel plans, it is a MUST-SEE
destination.
The trip to Olumo rock
involves climbing man made stairs carved into the rock and trust me this is not
an easy climb. It tends to leave a person breathless and gasping for air and
for this reason an elevator was later built to ease the stress of getting to
the top of the rock.
OBUDU CATTLE RANCH!!!
Another must see
destination in Nigeria is the Obudu cattle ranch, a beautiful resort situated
at the top of a mountain located in Cross river state Nigeria developed in
1991. I can proudly tell you that Obudu is a beautiful place for people looking
to spend a weekend, hiking, swimming, golfing and many more. With the beautiful
scenery it possesses it’s suitable for both a romantic getaway and a weekend
adventure.

The ranch also comes
with an exquisite cable ride that gives people a spectacular view over the
scenery of the ranch. This is known as the Aero plane field over view.
IGAGA WATERFALLS also
located at the ranch.
I wish I could go on
but what fun will it be if I give away everything Nigeria has to offer. Its
